Taylor May, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end/defensive tackle from Palno Senior High had some scholarship options, but senses a chance to make an impact on the division one level at Oklahoma State per his father.
"He has decided to take the walk on offer from the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He has turned down offers from some D2 and NAIA schools because he knows he can compete and make a difference at the D1 level."
"He will be making a visit to OSU the end of March to meet with coaches to discuss the walk on program. He is planning on being part of the top 20 walk-ons that report for camp Aug 1st. After OSU finishes spring ball they will determine if they need Taylor to report to Stillwater for the second summer session to work out in their summer program to be ready for the camp in August."
"Taylor is very excited about the OSU program and wants to prove he deserves to be at the D1 level and earn a scholarship hopefully in the next year."
As a senior, May racked up 85 total tackles, six sacks, four tackles for a loss and forced a fumble. He was also credited with 25 quarterback pressures.
