Second Offer for Taylor

Midwest Regional Manager
Posted Feb 22, 2011

Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) linebacker Laron Taylor has his second scholarship offer, and it came from inside his home state.

Detroit Cass Tech's Laron Taylor has been a top performer for the Technicians the last two years, earning All-City honors in both seasons.

The 6-0, 206-lb middle linebacker already had an offer from Iowa, and now added his second offer and first from inside the state.

"Western Michigan just offered me," Taylor reported, adding that he was not sure if he would visit the Broncos anytime soon.

The coaching staff at Cass Tech says Taylor is closing in on more offers, and schools like Penn State have shown more interest in recent weeks.

Taylor is an early three-star prospect.
