Skyline DB enjoys Baylor visit
Dallas (TX) Skyline defensive back Shelton Session was one of the prospects on hand this past weekend at Baylor's junior day. The 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback spoke with Scout.com about his visit and his preparations for his upcoming senior season. "My visit was really nice. I got to connect with the coaches and get a really good feel for the program," said Session. The Baylor visit was the three-star prospects only junior day and it left a very lasting impression on him. "After taking that visit I feel like I could definitely see myself going there. I just feel real comfortable there and their strength and conditioning program is great too." Session doesn't hold any scholarship offers yet but he is hearing from several programs including Arizona, Baylor, Oklahoma, Oregon and SMU. He believes that it's only a matter of time before his first offer comes in. "I think that the offers will come. I missed half of last season with a fractured foot so I think that the coaches want to see me in the spring and make sure that I'm still the same." With spring ball on the horizon, Session has been focusing on improving multiple facets of his game. "I've been trying to get my lower body bigger to improve my explosiveness and my speed. I've been doing a lot of squats, front squats and hang cleans to help me with it." Session claims that Oregon, Arizona, SMU, Oklahoma and Baylor all currently stand out to him.
