Speedy linebacker Tre Banks talks about his recent trip to Auburn…
Tre Banks back from Auburn
"I took a visit to Auburn this past weekend," said Tre Banks. "I attended their Junior Day yesterday with my parents. It was the first time my parents had a chance to see everything. "It was a nice trip. I got a chance to look at the academics. I saw the whole school. We toured the facilities. It was a real good trip." Banks spoke with several coaches during the unofficial trip including the Tigers' head coach. "I talked to coach Gene Chizik when I first got there," he said. "He met my parents for the first time. I talked to Ted Roof and coach Luper and Trooper Taylor. They were just saying to keep up the good work. They told me to keep working hard in the classroom." Auburn has their eyes on Banks, and a scholarship offer remains a possibility in the future. "They didn't say anything specifially yet about offering me," Banks said. "Auburn talks a lot about family. They talk about how close everyone is and how they treat everyone like family. You can say it, but you have to show it. When you go to Auburn they make you feel at home. You understand it's a family. It's a nice school and nice people." Banks has received one scholarship offer from Kentucky. He plans to visit Alabama and Florida State in the coming weeks.
