Burke Puts on a Show

Michael Burke may only be hearing from BYU, Villanova and West Virginia right now, but pretty much everyone else who has seen him play recently is shocked the Columbia, Pa., native doesn’t already have offers given his talent catching passes, so we made it a priority to get his junior highlights.

Columbia High School wide receiver Michael Burke scorched the competition as a junior for 1200 yards and 18 touchdowns and the 6-foot-2, 200-pound athlete has been hearing from BYU, West Virginia and Villanova consistently. We have his highlights from 2010 below.

As a junior, Burke caught 72 passes for 1200 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also returned an interception for a touchdown. He was named Wide Receiver of the Year for Section III, first-team All-League and first-team All-State at receiver. He was also named honorable mention All-League at defensive back.
