Interest in Denton (TX) Guyer High School product Connor Crane is booming as he prepares to visit…
'Zona is Crane's Fifth
"Conner received an offer from Arizona today," said a source close to the Denton Guyer program. Crane confirmed. "I called Coach Nichol during lunch today," said the 6-4, 185-pound receiver. "He said he liked me a lot when he came to see me, and that the offensive coordinator saw my film and thought I fit their system." Coach David Nichol, Arizona's outside receivers coach, was in attendance at Cowboys Stadium in November to witness Denton Guyer's area playoff win over Cedar Hill. In the game, Crane racked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown on just three grabs. With the offer, the Wildcats join Crane's mix of Kansas, Kansas State, Colorado, and Wake Forest. According to Crane, "They (Arizona) are up there with Kansas right now. I'm excited to go down there and visit." He says he does not have a date penciled in yet, but hopes to fly to Arizona sometime early summer. In the meantime, Crane is looking forward to his visit to Boulder (home of his first scholarship offer) next week.
