Amoako holds three
Arlington (TX) Martin defensive back Eric Amoako received his first three scholarship offers. Scout.com caught up with the 5-foot-11, 195-pound defender to get the latest scoop on his recruitment and more! "Kansas State, North Texas and Pittsburgh all just offered me and my twin brother Stephen Amoako," said Amoako. The Arlington safety already holds three offers and is receiving serious interest from multiple other programs. "Kansas, Boise State and Purdue have all been recruiting me lately. I'm pretty sure Kansas is going to offer pretty soon. They said that they only have a limited number of scholarships but they liked my film and they will more than likely offer." Amoako has almost a year until he can sign a letter of intent, but there is already a team that stands out to him. "Kansas State is my top school right now. I went there on a visit and met the coaches and felt real comfortable over there. The coaches came out on a Sunday to give my brother and I a private tour so it meant a lot to us, because it showed they really cared about us. Their campus is also really laid back, which I like." This off-season Amoako plans to focus on improving his backpedal and maintaining his weight and flexibility. He finished his regular season with 60 tackles, five interceptions, five fumble recoveries and 12 pass breakups.
