Badger Sport 7v7: Johnson's solid
Duke Johnson
South Recruiting Manager

Chad Simmons

TAMPA, Fla. - Miami is Miami and they will always be The U to Duke Johnson. There was a coaching change after he committed to UM, but he didn't waiver because he loves Miami for Miami.

Duke Johnson has worked his up to being one of the top prospects in the state of Florida in 2012. He is a running back out of Miami (FL) Norland and he knew as a child where he wanted to go to college. It was Miami.

The Hurricanes offered him a scholarship in 2010 and he committed to the Randy Shannon led program last year. There was a coaching change made and that affects many recruits, but Johnson is not one of those.

Johnson loves Miami for Miami and his commitment is as solid as they come.

He talks about that here on ScoutTV.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
