Burt Enjoys Baylor
Following the visit, I received a text from Terrell Burt: "Baylor was great. I met the coaches and watched their practice. Then talked to the coaches some more. It was great and they treated me great. I loved it." "The practice was very high tempo and the team looks like a team you don't want to play. They are very good." Burt said he and his father spent most their time with head coach Art Briles and the defensive staff: defensive coordinator Phil Bennett, cornerbacks coach Carlton Buckels, and linebackers coach Jim Gush (who Burt keeps in touch with the most). "They told me they want me down there and they will keep in touch," said Burt. "I think he liked the attention they gave him," said his father Greg. "They seem to want Terrell really bad." What exactly did the coaches have to say to the DB's father? "Just how much they liked Terrell. How he fits into their system," Greg said. "They talked about their academics and getting to their camp in June. It was all about him." And rightly so, as the Wylie star's stock has skyrocketed with his 12 offers coming just within the last month (his latest four served within three days last week.) Terrell says the Bears still sit in his Top Five. He will most likely attend Baylor's camp this summer.
