Quadzing Rogers profile
"I am hearing a lot from Mississippi State and Ole Miss," said Rogers. "I am going to visit both of them real soon.
"I am going to watch them both practice and talk with the coaches."
As a big player on a small roster, Quadzing has to wear a lot of hats in high school. It appears on the next level he will line up on the defensive front wall.
"Everybody is recruiting me as a defensive tackle," said Rogers. "I have been playing it since my tenth grade year. I like it because I like to hit.
"I feel like I am good at using my strength and speed. I want to become a better pass rusher though. I don't want to just be a run stopper."
A trio of SEC western division programs sit a top Rogers early wish list.
"I really like Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss," said Quadzing. "I like their programs and they aren't too far from home."
Earning a college degree is an important goal for the senior to be. He has already identified some potential fields of study.
"I am thinking about majoring in business or architecture," said Rogers. "I am real interested in both of them and I have always thought about owning my own business."
The chance to enjoy on the field success is also a big part of Quadzing's selection criteria.
"I want to win," said Rogers. "I don't have to stay close to home, but I want to be part of a winning program."
