New offers are the focus of these Midwest news and notes.

  • "Michigan State offered," reported Lyndhurst Brush (Ohio) defensive end Pharaoh Brown on Tuesday night. The 6'7, 225-lber could also play tight end, and has offers from Michigan, Colorado, Arizona State, and others as well. Oregon is also showing increased interest.

  • Avon (Ind.) offensive tackle DeAndre Herron reported an offer from Southern Miss last night. The 6'6, 310-lb Herron was also offered by Toledo recently. He visited the Rockets with teammate Charles Davis over the weekend.

  • Troy (Ohio) running back and safety Marcus Foster has reported that Duke is the latest to offer. Cincinnati, Buffalo, and others have also offered the 6'1, 190-lb two-way standout.

  • According to Warren Central assistant coach Greg Brookey, wide receiver Kevin Davis was offered by Indiana yesterday. In addition, linebacker Jordan Wallace and defensive end Josh Posley were offered by Ball State. A contingent of Warriors, including future four-star DT Sheldon Day were at Indiana yesterday and Purdue today.

  • Looking for a sleeper? Midview (Ohio) DE Arlington McClinton is emerging in what was an already strong defensive end class in the state. The 6'6, 230-lb McClinton was just offered by Toledo and word is, a host of schools are on his trail.

  • Over the weekend, Greentown Eastern (Ind.) DE Josiah Price reported that Central Michigan offered. That is his third scholarship offer.

  • Minnetonka (Minn.) junior safety Charles Webb reports Toledo has offered him.

  • Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) sophomore OT David Dawson will visit Michigan for junior day.

  • Another big junior day visitor for the Wolverines will be Canton McKinley's Se'Von Pittman, a future four-star prospect.

  • Marlington (Ohio) offensive lineman Zach Higgins reports an offer from Miami (Ohio)
