Atlanta MVP: Top 40 Times

HAMPTON, Ga. - Over 300 prospects were timed in the 40 yard dash and an athlete in the 2014 class turned in the fastest time.

This leg of the MVP Camp circuit featured numerous prospects in the 2012, 2013, and 2014 classes with a handful there that will be in the class of 2015.

A number of prospects turned in good times, but the the best one of the day was ran by a freshman out of Thomas County Central.

Note: Seven different participants turned in times of 4.5 seconds flat in the 40 yard dash and all of them tied for the eighth fastest time. Those prospects were Tre Sorrells, Mike Randle, Blake Tibbs, Jason Croom, Mark Fairbanks, Chaz Thornton, and Joshua Jones.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
