Offers Building for Mooney

Michael Mooney just received his fifth scholarship offer from Towson University and continues to teeter back and forth between FBS schools and high-level FCS programs looking to land him.

Malvern Prep School offensive tackle Michael Mooney landed another FCS offer this week when Towson University stepped into the picture. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive guard from Malvern, Pa., definitely has FBS talent, but it may take some camps and bulking up to keep those offers coming consistently.

“Towson offered me a scholarship recently,” Mooney said.

As a junior, Mooney was named first-team All-Inter-Ac on the offensive line. He was also first-team All-Main Line and All-City.
