Duron Carter will play for the Crimson Tide

Duron Carter and his family are in Tuscaloosa taking in the campus tour, scrimmage and talking of his future with the Univeristy of Alabama. It became official today of the wide receiver to enroll in June.

Duron Carter, son of Cris Carter who is well known as a former NFL wide receiver, will enroll at the University of Alabama for the first summer session. He is eligible to play this fall.

Carter started out his college career for Ohio State, and as a true freshman had 13 receptions for more than 160 yards and scored once. He left Ohio State due to academic reasons and had a great season last fall at Coffeyville, Kansas Juco with 10 touchdowns for 690 yards on 44 receptions.

Alabama became involved in his recruitment, and the Carter family's focus turned strictly to the Tide.
