Inuka Rhaheed (6-3/275) will be one of the state's top defensive tackle prospects in the 2012 class in Florida and he took in the 1on1 SHOWCASE Camp in Orlando on Saturday.
"It was a great experience. I learned a lot and had fun."
On the recruiting front, Rhaheed has just one offer but that is expected to change this spring when college coaches make their rounds.
""I have one offer from Buffalo," he said. ""It really doesn't matter (where I go). I'm wide open and I never even had a favorite growing up."
So what will be most important to the standout defensive tackle prospect?
"The academic progress and how the area around the school is."
Rhaheed credits his work ethic for a reason that separates him from other D-Linemen.
"It's my heard work. I work hard."
Rhaheed wasn't the only Westwood player to win an award at the Orlando 1on1 SHOWCASE Camp on Saturday. Teammate, offensive lineman Zerrie Patterson, was also honored.
