Peterson Anxious to Prove his Worth

Quantavious Peterson is eager for college coaches to see him action as they hit the road for their spring travels. Peterson is a prospect who could play any number of positions on the college level, but he enjoys having the ball in his hands. Scouts will soon be able to see Peterson throw the ball around a little bit and then decide where he fits best position wise.

"I was invited to the Mississippi State spring game, but I was going to a combine in Texas," said Peterson. "Mississippi State told me to send them some more film."

Quantavious knows learned a few weeks back that the Bulldogs have a spot in their class this year for a signal caller.

"I went to Junior day at Mississippi State and they are talking about me playing quarterback," said Peterson. "They told me they are going to take one quarterback in this class."

The Mississippi delta standout reports that he plans to do his part this summer to improve his odds of earning some offers by putting his best foot forward at camp.

"I am planning on camping at Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss," said Peterson. "I plan on going to a lot of camps, but I am not sure which other ones I will go to."

Quantavious is doing his part to help his baseball team this spring before he puts on the helmet and pads for spring football.

"I am playing third and we're doing pretty good," said Peterson. "I have a couple of home runs this season, so nobody wants to pitch to me now."
