1on1 SHOWCASE Orlando: QB MVP

The 1on1 SHOWCASE Camp in Orlando over the weekend featured several quality quarterbacks but one of them jumped out above the rest.

Jonathan Strahl has been starting at Spruce Creek High in Port Orange for the last two seasons and he turned in an excellent performance at the 1on1 SHOWCASE Camp in Orlando over the weekend.

"My experience was great. I got to work with some of the best athletes in Florida, worked with some great coaches, and those are things that will help me in the long run."

Strahl, 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, doesn't have any Div 1 offers yet but with performances like this one he should be getting plenty of interest in the coming months.

"I'm hearing from Middle Tennessee, Charleston Southern, and some Ivy League schools. A lot of smaller schools too."

So what's he looking for in a school?

"Academics is first -- that's the number one reason you go to college. And I wanna go someplace where I'll have a good track in life."

The talented rising senior talked about what separates him from most other quarterback prospects.

"I'll do whatever it takes. I have a 110 percent work ethic and that's important in a quarterback. And I lead by example."
