Montrell Bryant is only a rising junior but he's already made his mark as one of the state's fastest players. He won the Fastest Man competition at the 1on1 SHOWCASE Camp in Jacksonville this past weekend.
"It was a real good camp," Bryant said. "The best part was all the competition. The 40 race was competitive. The whole camp made me work harder than I'm used to. The whole experience will help me a lot and it was fun."
Bryant, 6-feet and 180 pounds, talked some early recruiting.
"I like Florida State and Florida the most," he said. "They're the top schools but I'll go anywhere. I like all the Florida schools. I'll go to college anywhere."
The standout receiver talked about what he'll be looking for in a school down the road.
"I wanna get to a school that makes you stay on the grades," he said. "I wanna be at a place where they'll really push me academically."
