A look at some of the standouts from the Chris Sailer Kicking Nike Spring Camp in Texas...

The most recent stop on the Chris Sailer Kicking Nike Spring Tour was in Dallas, TX this past weekend.  As always, Texas provided some phenomenal talent and performances.  The competitive atmosphere created intense pressure.  Some stepped up and some did not.  Take a look at the best of the best.

Camp Winner:  Austin Shoemake 5-8, 175 (Centennial H.S., TX) Class of 2013: Austin had a solid day from start to finish.  His consistency ultimately got him through to the end.  Austin should be a top performer in his class for years to come.

Best 2012 Talent:
Evan Sobiesk, 5-9, 185 (Oak Grove H.S., MS) Class of 2012:  Evan was the most talented kicker at the camp.  He is an outstanding kicker with huge potential.  Evan is already a member of the “TOP 12” and his performance solidified him as a big time D1A recruit.

Josh Lambert (Garland H.S., TX) Class of 2012:  Josh is an outstanding kicker.  He has a strong leg and kicks very well under a pressure.  He is a great athlete that has all the tools to challenge at any college level.  Josh is a solid D1 prospect.

Daniel Schwarz, 6-3, 185 (MacArthur H.S., OK) Class of 2012:  Daniel is a big time prospect.  He has a huge leg and gets great height on his ball.  He also hits big time kickoffs.  A definite D1A recruit.

Israel DePlaza, 5-8, 165 (Colleyville Heritage H.S., TX) Class of 2012:  Izzy is a very smooth kicker.  He shows outstanding consistency.  One of the best  field goal kickers in the nation.  He is proving himself time and time again.

Sam Fowler (Crosby H.S. TX) Class of 2012:  Sam is one of the better combo players in the country.  He shows great potential both as a kicker and punter.  He is a hard worker that should be able to compete at  any college level.

Other 2012 K/P prospects that showed D1A potential:  Ralph Freibert (LA), Kevin King (OK), Camden Bohnert (OK), Joe Figenshaw (TX), Alex Faoro (TX), James Grigsby (NV), and Josh King (TX).

Some younger players that also performed well include: Brett Rattan (2013), Elliot Fry (2013) and Austin McGehee (2014 AR).

Next stop on the Nike Spring Tour, Charlotte (April 30) and Atlanta (May1).
