Davis Twins Continue To Add Offers
It is often said in sports that "speed kills", and that certainly holds true for two of the most exciting players in Ohio, twin brothers Demitrious and Chris Davis. The Davis brothers were both ultra impressive as juniors last season, leading Austintown Fitch into the playoffs and thrilling observers along the way. Both players have attracted nearly 20 offers to date, from schools like Boston College, Arkansas, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Iowa and UCLA. Wednesday night came more impressive news. "Wanted you to know the twins were offered by Boise State tonight," their father, Chris Sr., announced. "This is a very big offer for them, and it's very special." As a junior wide receiver, Chris Davis (5-foot-9, 188-pounds) caught 23 passes for 276 yards, while rushing 44 times for over 200 yards. Last season, Demitrious Davis (5-foot-10, 182-pounds) played quarterback and threw for over 1,000 yards and rushed for 986 yards. He also accounted for 28 touchdowns.
