The MVP Camp hit Prattville, Alabama on Saturday and well over 150 prospects participated. Here are the prospects that took home the awards at the end.

Top Overall Performer

Laronji Vason - 2012, CB, Prattville, AL

Vason took home both the the top DB and top Overall Performer Award. He was lock-down Saturday and showed that he can match-up with anyone. Really closes on the football wise and lived in WRs hip pocket. Faster than anticipated. At 5'10+, he has the necessary size.

Top Underclassman

Austin Henrick - 2014, Cleveland, TN

Young QB who is not the starter and won't be in 2011 with Chad Voytik in front of him, but he was on fire Saturday. Every time you looked he was dropping a ball in for another accurate pass. The southpaw has a ways to go physically, but he will certainly be one to watch going forward.

Top Quarterback

Steven Bench - 2012, QB, Bainbridge, GA

The QB spot was hotly contested as everyone was on top of their game Saturday. Bench was particularly good showing plenty of zip and stunning accuracy. He plays in a veer offense, thus is not able to showcase his skills in pads, he did that displaying great tools. Bench should certainly should get some looks down the road.

Top Running Back

Andre Allen - 2012, RB, Panama City Arnold, FL

Allen has great quickness and speed, but really shined with his competitiveness on Saturday. He was looking to go against the best and when he did he displayed his athleticism and versatility. Should be a great fit in a spread type offense.

Top Wide Receiver/Tight End

Dontavious Heard - 2012, WR, Pebblebrook, GA

Silky smooth WR that seems to do everything effortlessly. Not well known before this camp, expect his name to grab some interest out there in the future. Has good size and created separation all afternoon. Good hands.

Top Offensive Lineman

Haston Coates - 2012, OG, Pleasant Grove, AL

Coates did not play much if at all as a junior, thus he has a lot to prove. He started doing that Saturday with a dominating performance. He needs to re-shape himself, but he moves exceptionally well for a big player. He played with an "edge" to him and he really put some hard work in during the camp.

Top Defensive Lineman

Justin Shanks - 2012, DT, Prattville, AL

Shanks was the headliner going into the camp and he backed it up with a strong performance. He has everything you look for at defensive tackle including an explosive first step, athleticism, and he seems to possess a good grasp of the game. Coveted by everyone who comes in contact with him.

Top Linebacker

Logan Cavender - 2012, LB, Fairview, Tn.

Cavender won this award for his consistency and hard work. At 6'2 he has the type of length that schools look for at the LB spot. He did really well in coverage showing the athleticism to match-up with top RBs. Put on a show in drills.
