Florida LB gets first offer
Darius Hall landed his first scholarship offer on Wednesday. "I landed my first offer -- from Oklahoma State," Hall said. "I think they have a wonderful program and theyre building to be on top. Also, I like the defensive schemes they run." In addition to the Cowboys, another school seems very interested. "I just talked to the coach at Purdue yesterday," he said. "I'm just waiting to see what happens this spring. A lot of schools should be coming out." As a prospect: A hard-nosed two-way player, Hall projects as a middle linebacker in college. At 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds, he has solid instincts and made some plays on both sides of the ball as a junior at Coral Park. He'll be one of Dade County's top linebacker prospects and should pick up some Division 1 offers as the spring evaluation period approaches.
