Profile 2004 - Brandon Tate (WR)
Noxubee County High School in Macon, MS lost two big
guns in Omarr Conner and Joey Sanders to Mississippi State in February,
but all is not lost as big Brandon Tate will return to play both sides
of the ball.
Tate is 6-4 and 210 pounds and runs a 4.6 forty, and
while his favorite position is wide receiver, as big as he is now, it's
hard to picture him staying there on the next level. Wide receiver is
his current choice though. "Schools are
recruiting me to play wide receiver right now," said Tate. "I
play some free safety for us, and I'll be playing both ways again this
year too. I went to camps at Mississippi State, LSU, and Georgia last
year. I'm not sure where I am going to go yet this year. My favorite
teams right now are probably Mississippi State, Ole Miss, LSU, Auburn,
Arkansas, and Georgia. They're all pretty even right now."
