"Last week I was asked to visit Florida which I looked forward to," said Hunter Boyett. "It was a great trip, I liked the campus a lot, and I loved The Swamp. The facilities are great too."
The 2014 signal caller out of Miami (FL) Westminster Christian School talks about trip here.
"I started off with height an weight and I measured in at 6-foot-2 and 181 pounds. After that, I was taken up to meet Coach Weiss. Coach weiss spent an hour talking to me about my goals and accomplishments an he told me to come up during the summer to talk offense with him.
"After that I met Coach Robinson, who is the South Florida recruiter. Coach robinson said Florida is greatly interested in me and if I keep on progressing the sky is the limit.
"I liked Coach Robinson and Coach Weiss a lot and I liked how they treated me while I was there. Overall the trip was great and I look forward to going there during summer."
Boyett named his early top five as Alabama, Florida, Miami, Oregon, and Stanford.
Simmons' Take: It is no surprise that a school like Florida is already expressing interest in this quarterback. He is very talented and he has a lot of tools coaches will like. He is a very cool and mature young man with a strong arm and a good understanding of the game. I expect many schools to try to get him on their campus over the next couple of years and early offers could be in his future. He just has it. He is a competitor, he looks to learn, and he was one of the top signal callers at the MVP Camp I am associated with in Orlando, Fla. earlier this year.
