Ruka Talks Visits and Favorites
Offensive line recruit Josh Ruka from Greenfield High School (Wisc.) made a visit to Northern Illinois and is expecting visits from coaches tomorrow. "Northern Illinois was great. All the coaches were nice and friendly," Ruka said. "I talked with Rod Carey and a lot of other coaches." But will Ruka be expecting an offer soon? "No offer yet, but Rod Carey said it's close," Ruka said. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound recruit said the coaches watched his film. He did not get to tour the campus and he missed out on the spring game because of a vacation he left early for. "They watched my film and they thought it was good," Ruka said. "For advice they didn't have much about my film. They said my footwork was good." Ruka has three top favorite schools right now. "My favorites right now are Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and Central Michigan," Ruka said. Ruka was in Madison for Junior Day back in February. He currently does not have any offers. Ruka explains why Central Michigan is one of his top schools. "I think they have been very talkative with me and in contact with me more than other schools," Ruka said. "Butch Barry is coming to see me tomorrow." New interests for Ruka include Western Michigan and Valparaiso. He does not have other visits planned for right now.
