Video Interview - Colin Thompson

Four-star tight end Colin Thompson joined a new family today and while that family has had unbelievable success over the past several years, they’re currently looking to change the way they do things on the field. A big step in the right direction is picking up a top pro-style player and that’s what the Gators got on Thursday.

On Thursday afternoon, Scout.com sat in the Archbishop Wood High School auditorium not knowing for sure where Colin Thompson was going to commit, but with what you could call a “bet your life on it” opinion. That was an opinion based on countless conversations with the 6-foot-5, 255-pound tight end’s feelings about the Florida Gators not only as a football team, but as a community and academic institution as well. After his announcement we sat down with him to talk about that commitment and yes, we made him do the chomp too.
