A name to remember for 2013

Leo Pili-Vaka (Scout.com)

Leo Pili-Vaka, a 6-foot-8, 363-pound offensive lineman from Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Wash., is going to be a name to watch for the class of 2013. During the Barton Football 2010 Oregon Marketing Workout in Salem, Ore., there were two giants that literally stood out - Walker Williams and Pili-Vaka. Pili-Vaka is set to prove he can be every bit the prospect Williams is right now.

Pili-Vaka worked out Saturday at the Barton Football 2011 Washington Marketing Workout, and he took a full half-second off his 40 time from a year ago, going from 6.3 to 5.8. By this time next year he's hoping to drop another few tenths off as his body continues to mature.

He's already hearing from a number of schools even though he's a sophomore, and it's a diverse list - Washington State, Oregon, UCLA, Eastern Washington, Western Oregon, Dartmouth, Nebraska, and Washington. But it's an ACC school he'd really love to hear from.

"I'd like to find out more about Clemson," Pili-Vaka said. "I like it down south, and I've heard there's a lot of competition down there too."
