Navy Offers Freeman

Tristin Freeman is a wickedly fast speed rusher and on Monday he finally picked up his first verbal scholarship offer from the Naval Academy which we expect to be the first of many to come with his pass rushing ability.

Tristin Freeman, a 6-foot, 220-pound hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker from West Catholic High in Philadelphia, Pa., picked up his first offer from Navy on Monday.

"I got my first offer from Navy this morning," Freeman said in a text message to Scout.com.

As a junior, Freeman registered 75 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, eight pass deflections and intercepted a pass.

In the classroom, he carries a 3.1 core GPA.
