Sally would love a chance at USC

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Brant Sally favored one school growing up and that was the South Carolina Gamecocks. He's love to play in Columbia one day, but he will look at any options he has.

"I grew up in South Carolina and I have always wanted to play for South Carolina," said Brant Sally. "I haven't heard anything from them yet, but that is the school I have dreamed about playing for. I always watched them on television, I know a lot about them, and that is a school I love to get an offer from."

Right now, the schools showing interest in Sally are Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Utah. No offers for the 6-foot-2, 196 pound safety out of Georgia Military College yet, but he is working towards some.

"I feel I can play in the SEC and for any school. I have good size, I have improved my speed and footwork at GMC, and I am just waiting to see who offers. I have confidence in my ability though."

Of course the Gamecocks are his top choice, but he said he is going to look at any of the offers that come his way. Alabama, Florida State, North Carolina, and Tennessee are schools Sally mentioned outside of South Carolina that have his interest right now.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
