I look at Dillon Lee as an old school football player. He is not into attention, he does not care about how he looks on the field, and he just plays the game the way it is supposed to be played.
He plays hard. He plays every play until the whistle blows, and he is a leader on the football field.
As a linebacker, he is a strong downhill player that tackles with good force. He drives his opponent back the majority of times and is just a strong tackler. He is a prospect made for the middle of the defense. His awareness, his instincts, and his size will help him make an impact on the next level.
He still needs to work on his hips and flexibility, but playing in the middle of Alabama's 3-4 defensive front will keep him moving forward more than side to side or backwards. Another area that needs improvement is his pass coverage. He is an athlete, but he just needs to work on his play in space and his drops.
Overall, Lee is an attacking linebacker who loves contact. He leaves it all on the field, he carries his weight extremely well, he is bigger than many think, and he plays hard-nosed football. He brings effort each and every game and he is going to be someone that is hard to keep off the field in Tuscaloosa.
