'Keeping it in Mississippi'

The battle cry for this year's South Panola team is to keep the national championship in Mississippi. The Tigers' star defensive tackle, Issac Gross, is taking it one step further. He wants to win a national championship in high school and college in Mississippi.

Issac Gross has been one of the more dominant forces inside the state of Mississippi the past three seasons.

The 6' 2", 245-pound lineman has started for the Tiger's defense since his 9th grade season. Issac has earned All-State status the past two seasons while collecting 155 tackles and 23 1/2 sacks. Gross was also named the 6A Defensive Player of the Year last season while helping South Panola to its first high school national championship.

Gross is almost unblockable on the high school level due to his quickness off of the ball and his leverage.

Now he is ready to take his talents on the next level to the University of Mississippi.
