"He is the one that jumps out at everyone," Centerville coach Ron Ullery said. "He plays offensive line-defensive line, but projects as an offensive lineman. He has long arms. He's a strong kid. He's going to be good. He's a sophomore now, he'll be a junior year. He'll be really good. I think he'll be at Benny's level or higher."
"I've heard from 25 schools," Lisle says. "Some of the top ones are Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Nebraska. I've gotten a lot of invites for summer camps, but I'm talking to my coach and trying to make a decision right now."
Several of those schools have been through Centerville to check in on their prospects, and while the rules prohibit conversation, Lisle has met many of the men who will be recruiting him over the next few years.
"A lot of coaches have come in. I've met coaches from Michigan, Notre Dame, basically all the schools that have contacted me."
Growing up in Centerville, Lisle says he mostly followed one team.
"I've always been a big Buckeyes guy," he admitted.
That said, he has not heard much from the school yet, but says he is patiently waiting. He also says he would camp in Columbus if invited.
"I really haven't gotten anything from them, but if they were to send me something, I'd definitely consider it."
One person who can certainly put in a good word is Bennett, who is off to Columbus this fall, and who Lisle says has been a key figure in his development.
"Bennett's really helped me. It's nice to have someone there to help when you're doing something wrong, and steer you in the right direction."
