Eric Lee Focused On Academics
Eric Lee has his career aspirations figured out at a very young age.
"I know I want to major in Management Information Systems in college and once I graduate college, I want to start my own restaurant business. My brother majored in the same thing at Alabama and it's great because it's half business and half technology. You can start your own business and be ready to go because you have experience in a lot of different things."
Lee is hearing from a number of schools that have really caught his attention. Some include South Florida, Mississippi State, FSU, Kentucky, Minnesota and FIU.
Lee says USF is especially interesting to him because they have his major.
"I'm really interested in USF. It's a nice area down there and they have my major so that could be a real good place for me to go."
Another school in the state of Florida is intrigued by Lee. The Seminoles have expressed their interest in the defensive end as well.
"FSU hasn't offered yet but I think they might. They came by in the spring and said they would keep in contact with me. I'd want to visit Tallahassee. An offer from them would be huge."
The third school in the Sunshine State showing interest in Lee is FIU.
"FIU came to my school. They have the M.I.S major I'm interested in and they were talking to me about it. I've seen pictures of the school and it looks really nice. They have a nice coaching staff and I could focus on academics there too."
Moving into the SEC, Lee says he's feeling some love from Kentucky and Mississippi State.
"Kentucky is great to me. They offered and I talk to coach Tee Martin there. They want to get me up there for some camps too. It's close to my major what they have there. It's not exactly my major but it's very close. It's a good school and it's not too far from home. I'm still considering them a lot."
"Mississippi State hasn't offered yet but I think this offer is on the way. They are really nice to me and they send me mail and came to my practices. I think I would like Mississippi State."
Lee insists he doesn't care which conference he plays in as long as the school is right for him.
