Marboe Plans on Earning Offers
Wenatchee (Wash.) center Mitchell Marboe is hearing from some Northwest programs, but still waiting for his first offer. "I am hearing from Idaho, Utah, Princeton, Bryant, Georgia Tech and Montana State," said Marboe. The recruiting process isn't new to the Marboe family. Mitchell's older brother, Mike, is an offensive lineman at Idaho and has been instrumental in helping his brother through the process. "I like Idaho, I was over there for junior day," said Marboe. "I really like the coaching staff and the campus." "My brother has helped us to know what is coming," said Marboe. "The plan is to perform really well at camps. I know that my height is a concern for a lot of schools, so I want to go to camp and show them I can play." The 6'0" 258lbs prospect doesn't plan on holding anything back at the camps. Marboe explained how he plans on handling the pressure of performing in a one day camp. "Pretty much just have to go balls to the wall," said Marboe. "You have to use NW Elite type camps to get your name out there, just don't hold back." Marboe is trying to get himself in front of as many coaches and scouts as possible this summer, loading up his schedule with an ambitious camp tour. "I will be at the NUC camp this weekend, NW Elite camp and the UW Nike Camp," said Marboe. "I am also going to Montana State, Idaho, Eastern Washington, Washington State and Utah's team camps."
