Travez Taylor profile
"Right now I feel good about the team," said Travez. "I feel like we are all leaning in the right direction.
"We have to work hard everyday and just go hard all the time."
Some college programs have been in touch with Taylor over the course of the last few months, but offer number one has remained elusive so far.
"LSU, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tennessee and a lot more have been writing me," said Travez. "I could have some offers, but I need to get my act right.
"I need to work harder in class."
Last season Taylor turned heads on both sides of the ball and he will be serving double duty for North Pike this season as well.
"I am going to be playing both ways again," said Travez. "I feel like I am a better defensive player because I like contact.
"It's kind of hard though because I can play them both."
Travez says he would like to get out away from home for his college career and he reports that the state of Florida would be a destination he could get excited about.
