Flor Willing to Wait
Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea offensive Tackle Sam Flor is still waiting for his first offer, but the junior understands that can be part of the process. Flor talked about the programs that have shown interet as of late. "Things have been going great, a lot of coaches have been by my school to talk with my coaches," said Flor. "Stanford, Washington, Washington State and Princeton have been there recently." Flor has an ambitious summer schedule, focused around attending as many team camps as possible. "I will be at the Jason Gesser camp, Washington's camp, my team camp at Eastern Washington, Stanford's camp, Notre Dame's team camp and finally an Ivy league tour this summer." Flor described the recruiting process as a bit like waiting for dominoes to fall. He mentioned that a couple of coaches have told him to be patient, and that once some players with offers begin to make decisions then he could see an offer come his way. "I have talked to a lot of the Pac-12 coaches," said Flor. "I feel like they have all offered the same group of guys. I just have to wait until some of those guys make decisions and hopefully some offers will come my way." Flor focuses on football year round, and has been working out on his own in addition to spending time with a personal trainer. "I have been working out five days a week and with a trainer a couple more days," said Flor. "I am just working on getting quicker and improving in the physical part of the game."
