Central Michigan picks up their fifth commitment so far this year.

Central Michigan continued their strong recruiting run this year, landing their fifth commitment in the 2012 class, Chicago Mt. Carmel safety Brandon Greer.

"I committed last night," the 6'0, 185-lb junior reported.

Greer held an offer from Western Michigan as well and had interest from a number of other FBS schools. He is the first projected defensive player in the CMU class, and the second from Chicago, joining Brother Rice running back Martez Walker.
