DB MVP talks about Miami camp

DB MVP talks about Miami camp

Chris Bivens is a standout cornerback prospect from Gainesville High and has several offers already. He took in Miami's camp earlier today and talked about it.

"I just been working out and everything and that's about it. We did good in the spring, beat North Marion 21-14. I got a pick and a 98 yard reception," Chris Bivens said. P> At 6-feet and 170 pounds, Bivens took in Miami's camp on Sunday and did well.

"I went to Miami camp today and won the MVP award for DB's. We did drills most of the time and then some one on ones. I excelled in all of it so they gave me the MVP."

So where does Bivens stand in the eyes of Miami as far as an offer goes?

"They're gonna sit down and talk about it tonight and they're gonna get back to me later tonight."

Bivens had a chance to work with Miami DB's coach Paul Williams.

"He's real cool. We talked a lot during the camp and after it. It was nice to get some hands on instruction from the actual DB coach at a big school. He's a real down to earth guy and all the coaches keep it real with you."

So who jumped out the most to Bivens during the competition drills?

"DeAndre Jasper was real good."

Bivens claims BCS offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, NC State, Iowa State, Illinois, South Carolina, USF, and Utah.
