Northwest Elite Football Camp MVP's

SAMMAMISH, Wash. - Here are the position MVP's and Rising Stars for Friday night's Northwest Elite Football Camp, held at Skyline High School. Coaches representing eleven colleges gave their expertise to 365 prospects from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska - including the entire coaching staff from Washington State.

All are 2012 class, unless listed:

Defensive Line: MVP - Uso Olive (Federal Way); Rising Star - Benning Potoa'e (Lakes, 2015)

Linebacker: MVP - Darius Antalan (Capital); Rising Star - Joey Martarano (Fruitland, ID, 2013)

Defensive Backs: MVP - Jayshawn Jordan (O'Dea); Rising Star - Tere Calloway (Seattle Prep, 2013)

Tight Ends: MVP - Caleb Smith (Kentridge); Rising Star - Kyle Self (Peninsula, 2013)

Running Backs: MVP - D.J. May (Federal Way); Rising Star - Nate Henkel (West Salem, 2013)

Offensive Line: MVP - Cory English (Auburn); Rising Star - Cody O'Connell (Wenatchee, 2013)

Wide Receiver: MVP - Trent Sewell (Bothell); Rising Star - Kahlil Dawson (Graham-Kapowsin, 2013)

Athlete: MVP - Chevelle Walker (Eastside Catholic); Rising Star - Adam Winterling (Jesuit)

Quarterback: MVP - Drew Austin (Graham-Kapowsin); Rising Star - Jason Thompson (Kennedy)
