T.C. Klusman Says Yes to Louisville
6'4 and 270-pound T.C. Klusman has decided to end the recruiting process and join offensive linemen Sid Anvoots, defensive end Larry Jefferson, wide receiver Brandon Snell, cornerback Demetrius Frazier and defensive tackle Teko Powell as part of the 2012 Louisville recruiting class. Klusman made his third trip to Louisville yesterday (Saturday June 11th) for Charlie Strong's one-day camp and decided the time was right. "I feel very relieved to get this out of the way. I can now focus on my Senior year in high school and enjoy that more now that I have a great place to go after high school. Louisville was the place I felt the most comfortable. It is near my hometown, so my family can watch me play, but far enough away that I can be independent. My relationship with Coach Borbs (coach Borberly) is very good. He has been honest with me from the beginning and very upfront. Coach Strong has a winning formula and I cannot wait to play for him and be coached by Coach Borbs. They (Family) are excited, but at the same time very relived, comfortable, and confident with the decision. They really trust the entire coaching staff." What did the Louisville coaches think about the decision? "They were excited and happy. They wanted me to try on a Louisville helmet on so we could all see what I would look like as a Cardinal." To the Louisville fans: "I look forward to contributing to a championship program, and being from Cincinnati, I'll be happy to get the Keg of Nails in Louisville and help to keep it there. I am a smart player, with good feet and hands, but I need to be more assertive." As far as what position he will play at the next level that is still up for debate. "Anywhere on the offensive line where Coach Borbs thinks I can do the best."
