Philly Speedster to Temple

Scout.com just got notice after midnight that Philadelphia, Pa., native Shakur Nesmith has given his verbal commitment to the Temple Owls.

Shakur Nesmith, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound wide receiver from Imhotep Charter School has just committed to Temple according to his coach, Troy Gore.

What is interesting about this commitment is that Nesmith, a player who has gone under the radar in recruiting until very recently, could turn out to be looked at as a huge steal for Temple down the line. Nesmith is consistently running in the 4.3's in the 40-yard dash at camps according to many people that we talk to and has a giant wingspan.
