Plymouth (Mich.) LB Tyler Goble has good tape, and plays for a good school. He has plenty of college…
Goble Lands First FBS Offer
Plymouth linebacker Tyler Goble was recently offered by the Citadel, his first, but he now has his first FBS (Division-1) offer, as Bowling Green offered. "I'm real excited," he said. "I think things are starting to pick up." The Falcon offer is an especially interesting one, as Goble's older brother Ronnie plays there, but he says that is not necessarily a deciding factor. "I mean, that would be a really cool thing, but it's not a factor in my decision. I'm very excited. I know so much about the program, but the fact that Ronnie is there will not affect where I go to school." The offer list may grow very soon too. "Tons of schools are telling me they're close. Northwestern told me they'll figure out this week where I'm at with them. I went there last Friday and everything went good. I ran a 4.7 forty, 4.23 shuttle. I was definitely excited. They said I made it. Most guys eliminate themselves at camp, but I made it to the next rank." If the Wildcats were to offer, Goble would be highly interested. "I think as far as coaching goes, it's a great situation. Coach Fitzgerald just signed a 20-year extension. I really like the coaches there. It's a great academic school and I got a 29 on my ACT and a 3.8, so I qualify to go there too." Goble will camp with Michigan State on Saturday and Stanford the following Monday.
