Jamie Willis of Fort Meade is a one man wrecking crew…
LB enjoyed Miami camp
"Last week I went to the Miami camp and won the linebacker MVP up there. I was home for my school and I got in from workouts. I'm back down here for the Ray Lewis Camp," said LB Jamie Willis. Willis spoke more about his Miami camp experience. "We did a whole lot of drills. They did some regular drills they do with the team. People who performed well took a tour of the school. I did that. I taled to Micheal Barrow. He said I just gotta work on my hips, learn to stay lower." Willis came away impressed with linebackers coach Micheal Barrow. "He's intense and knows what he's doing. I could learn a lot. He's one of the best linebackers to ever come through Miami. He helped me with some pointers and stuff. He said he wants to see what I do this season. He's gonna come check me out." The standout LB prospect claims six offers right now. "I have FAU, FIU, Indiana, Ball State, Western Kentucky, Iowa State, and I think that's it. The only other one I've been talking to is Miami. I like Miami a lot and we'll have to see if they come through with an offer." As a prospect: At 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Willis lines up as a rush end at the prep level. He dominates the small school competition with quickness off the ball and being an explosive tackler once he gets into the opposing backfield. He has ideal size with room to grow for an OLB prospect and the athletic ability is there, too, to make a smooth transition. He's extremely quick, changes directions well, and brings a lot to the table as a prospect.
