Morris and Norfleet Shine in Championship

On a day filled with close games, the championship game of the IMG Madden 7-on-7 tournament presented by Under Armour was won by Team Detroit Maximum Exposure over Team Tampa on the IMG campus in Bradenton, Florida.

For Detroit Maximum Exposure, quarterback Shane Morris and running back Dennis Norfleet were voted co-mvps by Scout.com for leading their team to victory. The final score was Detroit 28 and Team Tampa 16, in a game that was not as close as the final score indicated.

Detriot quarterback Shane Morris, a Michigan commit and top 2013 prospect, struggled early Saturday; but once he found his game he was nearly unstoppable over the next two days.

Norfleet might have been the fastest player in attendance. It was next to impossible for anyone to cover him for most of the weekend.

The IMG tournament was a twelve team event, double elimination tournament, featuring some of the top prsopects in America.

For Team Tampa two players stood out in defeat, wide receiver Alvin Bailey and defensive back Leon McQuay, both were standouts throughout the entire tournament.
