4-Star running back Dennis Norfleet (5'7/165) of Detroit, Mich. wasn't the biggest player on the field, but at the IMG Madden Football Academy's 2011 7on7 Championship, he proved to be the best.
Norfleet and Michigan quarterback commitment Shane Morris '13 (6'3/185) of Warren, Mich. led their Max Exposure team down from Michigan to take on a host of teams from Florida in the sweltering Florida heat and came away champions.
Norfleet and Morris were running neck and neck for the MVP for the tournament, but Norfleet separated himself from his teammate after elevating for a pass that was well over thrown and landing on a brick lined sidewalk with an audible thud.
Two plays later, Norfleet caught a long touchdown pass and earned the admiration of a vocal Team Tampa and spectators alike.
Here is a look at Norfleet against Team Tampa in the two championship games. Tampa was coming out of the loser's bracket having lost earlier in the day and won the first game, before Max Exposure took over and won a convincing second game.
