Michigan Elite was able to grab 7-on-7 Regional Championship by taking home the victory at the Badger/New Level 7-on-7 in Pittsburgh earlier this year and will be bringing a stout team down to compete for the National Title.
Here is a look at some of the top prospects who are slated to be making the trip to Texas.
QB Cooper Rush, 6-foot-3, 225-pounder from Lansing Catholic Central has already made a commitment to sign with Central Michigan in February. He was a big reason why the Elite won in Pittsburgh.
RB Juwan Lewis, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound bruising running back from Muskegon High holds offers from Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan, and has picked up interest from Northwestern, Cincinnati, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and Syracuse.
WR/OLB Matt Dellinger, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Clarkston High will likely play on both sides of the ball. He already holds an offer from Kent State.
WR Michael Henry, a 5-foot-11, 160-pounder from Northwestern High is a receiver who can work the underneath route and gets good separation. He already reports an early offer from Western Michigan.
WR/CB Shane Barron, a 5-foot-10, 175-pounder form Carman-Ainsworth High holds offers from Central Michigan and Western Michigan.
DB Donte Fox, a 5-foot-11, 211-pounder from Plymouth High was one of the top defenders at the Pittsburgh 7-on-7 and now has three offers from Buffalo, Central Michigan and Toledo.
OLB Lester Liston, a 6-foot-2, 215-pounder from Grand Blanc Community High Has an offer from Western Michigan. He has the size of a linebacker but moves really well, which is a huge asset in 7-on-7.
