LB Trey Johnson

One of the top players in the Peach state for the class of 2013 is linebacker Trey Johnson. Johnson checks in at 6'1 and 210-pounds.

Trey Johnson, 6'1 and 210-pound linebacker from Lawrenceville (GA) Central Gwinnett high school:

"Its real good," Trey Johnson said. "Nothing much going on right now. I m might make one or two visits over the Summer but not sure. I have not seen South Carolina so we might go there and I think we might go back to Auburn."

Johnson talked about Auburn, Florida and South Carolina.

Auburn:

"I like Auburn, the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach came from my high school so I have heard about him a lot and we seem to really connect and I could see myself playing for him."

Florida:

"I l like it at Florida. I like coach Durkin and coach Dan Quinn. The players talk about how hard the workouts are and I like that. I am really just trying to get a feel for the program."

South Carolina

"I dont know too much about them and that is the main reason I want to get to South Carolina."

"I have visited Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Clemson, Tennessee and Auburn. I have to learn more about all the schools. I go and take in what they all say, they are all really kind of on the same page so I need to go back and do more research on all of them."

Johnson talked about his game on the field.

"I like my instincts and I watch a lot of tape. I also play downhill a lot and that's what coaches tell me they really like about me. My pass coverage is something that I need to work on. I need to get more depth when they drop back to pass."
