Flint Northwestern (Mich.) star Michael Henry stays in state and chooses Western Michigan.

Western Michigan added to their 2012 class today with Flint Northwestern's speedy wide receiver Michael Henry.

"After having a great camp at Western Michigan University on Thursday night, I verbally commit to their program as of today," Henry said, adding, "I'm really excited about the opportunity."

The Broncos were the first and only offer to the 5'10, 165-lb receiver, but he had interest coming from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Toledo, Michigan State, Syracuse, and others.

Last season, Henry caught 41 passes for 760 yards and five touchdowns.
