Rising junior a big play player
Last season Marcus Cosby put on a strong performance in limited action. Now that he's healthy, Cosby has a chance to show what he's capable of on the camp scene. As a sophomore, Marcus Cosby put on quite a show for his Bardstown High. The 6-foot, 165-pound receiver played in only four games due to a shoulder injury, but he caught 22 balls on the year for 396 yards. "I performed pretty good last football season," he said. Cosby has the size to play any position in the defensive backfield as well as receiver on the offensive side of the ball. That versatility is an asset for the young player. "I would describe my strengths in football as being able to play multiple positions. I'm very comfortable in the wide receiver position. I am determined to catch the ball every play. However my weakness would be my break-away speed (4.6-forty)," said Cosby. Currently Cosby is interested in a handful of programs and may be preparing to camp at a few places. "I am interested in Mississippi State, Kentucky, Louisville and Tennessee. I stay open minded to any other schools," said Cosby. "I haven't had the chance to attend any camps, however I am possible attending a Vanderbilt and Ball State camp in mid July," said Cosby. Cosby will be a prospect to watch over the next two years in the state of Kentucky.
