Hall Hoping To Bounce Back
DaShawn Hall, 6-foot-1, 210-pounds, is anticipating a strong finish to his career this year at Canton (OH) GlenOak, after being bothered by injuries last season. "I'm moving to linebacker this year after playing safety the past two seasons," Hall stated. "I like safety better, but if the team needs me to switch positions, I will gladly do that. I'm also supposed to play on offense this season, and I like that." "At the next level, I'm probably an outside linebacker, or possibly a safety," he added. "A lot depends on how big I get and if I can keep my speed where it needs to be. After starring as a sophomore and establishing himself as a player of note for the class of 2013 in Ohio, Hall is hoping to put himself back on the recruiting radar this season. "I'm hearing from Michigan State, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Iowa State and Ohio University," he explained. "I'm hoping to get out to West Virginia and possibly Michigan State in the next few weeks. Last summer, I was at the Ohio State camp and did really well." "I think people want to see that I'm 100% healthy and good to go," he continued. "I don't have any offers yet, and I'm open to hearing from any school. My grades have gotten better each year, and I'm looking forward to showing how good I can be this year." Regaining his health would seem to be all Hall needs to do to get back to being a desired recruit once again. His stellar play as a sophomore showed college recruiters just how talented he is, and a strong senior film could put him back in the recruiting game.
